Jayda received her Bachelor of Commerce in 1979 from the University of Calgary and received her Chartered Accountancy designation in Alberta in 1983. Jayda worked with several large and small accounting firms including Simpson, Myers and Hamilton - where she worked with David Hamilton.
Jayda has devoted many years to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta. She was a member of the Practice Review Committee from 1993 through 1996 and was a Member of Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta from 1999 - 2003.
Jayda is primarily involved with owner-operated small to medium sized businesses. Her focus is on the overall effectiveness of the business and providing integrated tax planning.
